Why CHINA DIE CASTING
We
have joined the China Diecasting 2018 fair in Shanghai this week, a
three-day show, which is the Biggest and the Most Influential Expo.
Coverage of the Whole Industry of non-ferrous casting, including
Aluminum, Zinc and Magnesium.
What we planned is to meet suppliers for casting, either low pressure and high pressure, identify their competence in different materials and segments like vehicles, enginneering, railway, electrical engineering and so on. Do they have inhouse ability of mold design and production, what software do they use for analysis and design, do they outsource deburring or surface treatment and why, what’s their strategy and vision etc.
Another purpose is certainly to update our knowledge about the whole industry and its supply chain. Some key trends are identified.
- Automation is booming, many robot brands are present here including western and local ones, and also automated deburring production line is showed.
- Light weight tendency by technology update while still can keep the key performance such as elongation, tensile strength, yield strength, e.g. by semi-solid process.
- More peripheral equipments are for detection and protection of environment
